Twitter Releases New App For Windows Phone

Twitter has introduced a new version of Twitter for Windows Phone. The redesigned app includes four new navigation tabs - Home, Connect, Discover and Me. Besides, the new app also allows users to compose a Tweet or search from anywhere in the app, using the new icon buttons in the application bar.
Windows Phone users can also Pin Twitter accounts, lists and searches to the start screen. In this way, they can get quick access to some of their favourite Twitter content.

Bill Gates Calls Windows Phone Strategy A Mistake

Microsoft Corp Chairman Bill Gates said he was not satisfied with the companys pace of innovation over the last few years, and that it had mishandled its early mobile strategy. "We didn't miss cellphones, but the way that we went about it didn't allow us to get the leadership. It's clearly a mistake," Gates, Microsoft's former CEO, said in a rare interview with CBS.
Gates hedged questions on whether he was happy with Chief Executive Steve Ballmer's performance. He said Ballmer had achieved a lot but that both he and Ballmer were not satisfied.

Steve Jobs Was Geekier Than Me: Bill Gates

Microsoft co-founder and chairman Bill Gates, who is trying to save the world by reducing child death rates and eliminating polio, has said that he is 'less geekier' that Steve Jobs.

During a recent interview, Gates talked about his foundation's annual letter, which outlines his organization's recent successes in global health.

"It's good news that you wouldn't hear," the founder of Microsoft said of the information he shared in his annual missive. "I share what I've been able to see in my travels to Africa and Asia."
